The Appenberg is a hotel village in the Emmental region of Switzerland, featuring 48 hotel rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and seminar and group rooms. The hotel village consists of several buildings and specializes in workshops, conferences, retreats, and team off-sites. It is also the ideal base for excursions in the Emmental region and beyond. Nestled in the Emmental hills, the Appenberg promises tranquility, a connection to nature, and enjoyment.
The Appenberg is ideal for: seminars, workshops, conferences, retreats, team off-sites, team-building events, weddings, birthday parties, family celebrations, corporate events, and banquets in the Emmental region near Bern. The venue offers seminar rooms for 4 to 100 people, 30 hotel rooms (48 rooms starting in summer 2027), a restaurant, a bar, 2 banquet halls, garden areas, and a shuttle service from the Zäziwil or Konolfingen train stations.
We are now accepting reservations starting in March 2027 for seminars, workshops, retreats, conferences, overnight stays, banquets, and weddings.
Table reservations will be accepted starting in late fall 2026.
