À la Appenberg—it’s full of character. Our menu combines hearty classics with surprising twists, always with a touch of whimsy and a deep love for the region. In our cozy restaurant, the view of the countryside makes everyday life seem far away. Here, you’ll taste and feel the Emmental.
Hours of Operation
Mon–Sat: 7:00 a.m.–10:30 p.m.
Sun: 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
In the afternoon, we serve delicious light meals and desserts from our afternoon menu. On Sundays, the restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner.
We offer à la carte service for groups of up to 10 people. Please let us know in advance if you plan to visit with a larger group—exceptions may be made depending on availability.

The restaurant can seat 80 guests. There is plenty of space here for social gatherings, festive banquets, and delightful tavolata.
