Q: What does "twin bed" mean?

"Twin beds" refers to two separate beds, each with a 90-centimeter-wide mattress, that can also be pushed together to form a 180-centimeter-wide bed.

Our Room Categories

At Appenberg, less is more. Our hotel rooms are places to slow down, where we do away with unnecessary electronic clutter. Instead, enjoy the silence of the hill, Swiss natural skincare products from Schnarwiler, and the comfort of local innovations like our blankets made from recycled PET fibers from Bern. Sustainable and deeply relaxing.

Single Room

Spacious rooms up to 16 m², some with a balcony, feature a generous 120 cm bed. Restful stays from CHF 135, including breakfast.

Double Room

Flexible rooms up to 24 m², some with balconies: Relax starting at CHF 198, either on the comfortable 180 cm double bed or on separable twin beds.

Comfort Double Room with Balcony

Even in the Comfort Room, which measures up to 28 m², you can choose between a 180 cm double bed and twin beds. Each room has a balcony. Rates start at CHF 249.

Studio with a balcony and kitchen

The bed, mattress, bedding, toiletries, curtains, select lamps, coat rack, and most of the furniture—all come from Swiss manufacturers. This way, you can experience quality and regional character in every detail.

Breakfast

The generous breakfast buffet, featuring regional ingredients sourced from the immediate vicinity, is always included in the room rate.

Shuttle Service

Upon request, we are happy to arrange free transportation for our hotel guests to and from the Zäziwil train station (5-minute ride) or the Konolfingen train station (10-minute ride).
