The granary—once the farmhouse’s treasure chamber. Built slightly apart from the main structure so it could be saved in an emergency, such as a fire on the farm, it housed grain, meat, clothing, money, and yarn, serving as the quiet heart of the farm. This is where the farmer’s wife kept her most precious treasures—a place full of stories and secrets.
