Mushroom Hunting
What’s growing there on the forest floor? On a guided mushroom excursion, you’ll discover the fascinating world of mushrooms, learn about different species, and go foraging together. With a little luck, the mushrooms you collect might even be turned into a delicious dinner on the Appenberg. A nature experience for all the senses.
Accompanied by an expert guide, you’ll explore the forests of Emmental and discover the diversity of the local mushroom world. You’ll learn where mushrooms grow, how to identify different species, and what to look out for when foraging.
After they have been inspected by an expert, you can take the mushrooms you’ve collected home with you or, if you’d like, have our kitchen at the Appenberg prepare them into a delicious dinner.
